    Organizational structure: The General Board of Church and Society is the international public policy and social action arm of worldwide United Methodist Church. It is one of several international boards. It is governed by a Board of Directors, headed by a President with a General Secretary who also acts as CEO. The Board has staff based in Wash., Dc and its United Nations Office in New York.
