Mission statement:	Our Summit Declaration calls for the creation of alternative strategies, master plans and actions plans by the NGO movements for Sustainable Development in developing countries in partnership with the other Major Groups, Civil Society Organizations, governments and international bodies. It commits us tothe vigorous pursuit of new alternatives for development that will lead to the implementation of NGO action proposals, to the implementation of the vision statements of the Algerian Declaration, the Earth Charter, the Millenium Forum and the action goals of the the World Conference on Racism in Durban South Africa, and the World Summit on Sustainable Development.
