    Year of registration: 2005
    Organizational structure: The organization consists of three main organs: the General Assembly, Board of Directors and the Management. The General Assembly includes both individuals and organisational members and currently it has a membership of over 3000. WEPâ¿¿s Board of Directors is a 9 member Board, comprising of 5 females and 4 males. The Board is the policy making body of the organisation and meets annually to review performance of the organisation, approve programmes and budget for the organisation. The Management, headed by the Executive Director (who is also a member of the Board of Directors) is saddled with the responsibility of policy implementation and the general day-to-day running of the organization. The structure is organized into four proposed projects viz; Environment, Governance, Peace and Conflict Resolution, and Natural Resource Development. There is also a unit of Administration and Finance which is saddled with the administrative and accounting issues.
    Number and type of members: Membership of the organization is open to all individuals, CBOs, NGOs, Academiaâ¿¿s, professionals whom majorities are volunteers. We also have international volunteers whom have spent sometimes like 6 months, 9 and 12 months respectively. Currently it has a membership of Over 6000 from all over Nigeria and sub region of West Africa.
