International Medical Corps is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization managed by the President & CEO, the Vice President of International Programs, the Vice President of Finance & Administration, the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, the Vice President of Domestic & International Affairs, the Vice President of Global Strategy, and is governed by a Board of Directors. International Medical Corps maintains highly developed systems for financial management, project tracking, administration, reporting, recruitment, and compliance. International Medical Corps financial systems are routinely capable of handling international financial transactions throughout the world, and coordinating with a network of international banking and financial partners with global coverage. International Medical Corps’ programs are directed by the Vice President of International Programs and a cadre of experienced program personnel. The Vice President of International Programs reports to the President, and is assisted by the Director of International Operations and supported by the headquarters program operations team and technical specialists. The headquarters program operations team reports to the Director of International Operations, and is staffed by a seasoned corps of professionals. The desk officers provide day-to-day management, program oversight, and support to the field sites. International Medical Corps’ Vice President for Domestic and International Affairs serves as a key liaison with the United Nations agencies at the headquarters levels. These include relationships with UNHCR, UNICEF, WHO, UNFPA and OCHA. On the country level, International Medical Corps’ activities are carried out predominantly by dedicated national staff. Each country is managed by a Country Director and supported by an experienced team of medical, operations, finance, logistics, and administrative staff. The structure of country teams varies across the countries depending on the interventions, geographic spread, and other country specifics. |
