Mission statement:	The mission of the organization is clearly defined in the Preamble of the WCCI Constitution which reads as follows: Preamble: As individual educators from all over the world, we join together in this person-to-person, non governmental, non-profit global organizations committed to active participation in efforts to achieve the purposes of the organization. As educators in a world community, we have the responsibility to ensure that education contributes to the promotion of equity, peace and the universal realization of human rights. Tho this end, all curricular and instructional programs should facilitate in every person the development of (1) a comprehensive sense of respect of self, others and the environment and (2)the capacity to participate at all levels of the world society from local to global. As individuals we commit ourselves to strive toward these ideals and full purposes of the organizations within our professional responsibilities and in our organizational relationship.

Organizational structure:	Decision Making Governing Body: WCCI Executive Board as provided for in Article V of the WCCI Constitution. The Executive Board composed of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, six Board members from different countries, Executive Director and Executive Assistant. The Executive Board meet and make decisions in person during the Biennial World Conference. When needed or feasible they hold special meetings. In between they communicate and make decisions through email or conference call or individual telephone calls. The Executive Director is the Chief Executive Officers and together with the Executive Assistant carry out the decisions and take charge of the day-to-day operation of the organization through the Secretariat.
