    Organizational structure: The General Forum, composed of all members is the highest decision and policy making body of the Network. It convenes at least once every two years in a General Assembly. The General Forum is further divided into task forces comprised of: advocacy/capacity building, migrant savings for alternative investment, feminization/gender and West Asia. The executive committee (EC) is composed of the following: two representatives from each sub region/one each from regional organizations and the MFA Secretariat. Representatives to the EC are elected by their respective sub regions in a general assembly and are confirmed by the general forum. The EC acts as a central executive body of the organization, it meets twice a year (it makes use of occasions where representation is called for and holds a back to back meeting on such occasions) and overseas the operation of the secretariat. A Supervisory Group (SG) composed of representatives of MFA member organizations in the country where the secretariat is located serves as consultant group on administrative and program matters. The secretariat oversees the day to day activities that promotes the development of the network and convenes the meetings of the EC, task forces and the Regional Conferences. It organizes representation when necessary initiatives that draws on the strength of the network. Women are well represented in the decision making body of MFA through the General Forum and at the EC and SG level.
