A Kenyan registered NGO [ NGOB/218/051/20070192(9)], Ilamaiyo foundation is a civil society body, charitable and development focused that works to foster sustainable development in the most marginalized and underdeveloped areas . The program primary goal is the creation of safer and sustainable livelihoods amongst people affected by situational subordination, retrogressive social - cultural systems, diseases, natural phenomena’s and illiteracy. The Kenya Districts administrative unit shall be the foundation reference for regional programmes. The foundation works under the auspices and directives of the NGO board of Kenya under which it is registered. The main objective of the foundation is to build gender sensitive social economic development that is community based, developing and sustainable with special emphasis to the youth and women. The foundation will initiate sustainable interventions and implementation strategies to address the below areas so as to achieve its objectives, it shall implement all or a number of the areas according to community priorities within the regional development programmes circuit.
