    Organizational structure: WGNRR is a global network organisation with regional focal points. Annual regional members' meeting is the assembly to decide on strategy, major policies and issues, and elects the Board. The Board is democratically represented by feminist/activist development work specialists from the different regions. The Board is responsible for endorsing annual work plans, budgets and annual reports. As a Governing Board is held accountable for the functioning of the Network. The Board has standing committees for personnel issues, financial matters, and grievance procedures. The Coordinating Office Team runs the daily affairs of the WGNRR based on its statutes. It consists of a Coordinator and staff to develop and implement the global network’s activities, including policy and strategy formulation and financial management.
    Number and type of members: WGNRR has 860 member-organisations, 657 subscribers, and 183 network supporters, in 157 countries. Most of these are community and national-level, grassroots women's and girls' organisations, working in urban and rural poor communities, indigenous villages and in conflict situations.
    Affiliation with NGO networks: WGNRR is linked and working in many collaborative ways with networks: Associatio of Women in Development, AMANITARE, Youth Coalition, 1325 Circle, ASTRA, and Women Living Under Muslim Laws
