Intercambios is directed and administered by the Board of Directors composed of five (5) official members that fill the following positions: President, Secretary, Treasurer, permanent Vocal and substitute Vocal. They are elected in the General Assemblies. The duration of each term is two (2) years and all are eligible for reelection. - There is a control body composed of a permanent Auditor and one Substitute. The duration of their term is two (2) years.
There are two kinds of General Assemblies: Ordinary and Extraordinary. The Ordinary Assembly is completed once a year within the first four months (one hundred and twenty days) subsequent to year-end closing which is the 31st of December each year and in this active members: a) consider, adopt, or modify the Report, Balance Sheet, Inventory, Expenditure Account, and Resources and Auditor´s Report; b) elect the members of Board of Directors and the Auditors, c) discuss any other matter included in the order of the day; d) discuss matters proposed by a minimum of five percent (5%) of the members with the right to vote and presented to the Board of Directors within the thirty (30) days of closing the fiscal year. The Extraordinary Assemblies are called always when the Board of Directors considers it necessary or when it is requested by the Auditor or twenty percent of the members with a right to vote. The resolutions are adopted by the absolute majority of the votes cast. No member is allowed to have more than one vote and the members of the Board of Directors and the Auditor are not allowed to vote on items related to their management. |

Intercambios has twenty active members. They are those who have voice and vote and may be elected to integrate the social bodies in any of their positions.
The working team is composed of 17 seventeen professionals (psychologist, social workers, political scientist, lawer, sociologist, etc) |
