YPWC is headed by the Executive Director with guidance from adult mentors who sometimes are part of the Board of Directors (Advisory Board). In the absence of the Executive Director from official post, the Programmes Director takes charge of some official assignments as directed by the Executive Director. YPWC also has a Youth Action Ambassador programme. The Youth Action Ambassador positions for young people who are interested in leading other people to be the change that they wish to see in their communities has helped YPWC to reach a larger number of young people through learning partnerships in schools where YAA lead MDGs Clubs. Some of these YAAs do act as country representatives in some cases. During decision making there is a consultative approach for giving the node to a decision or otherwise. Consultation is also made with the Advisory Board team. |
