Mission statement:	Hydroaid is an Italian non–profit Association entitled to operate both in Italy and abroad for pursuing the goal of sustainable development. It was founded with the aim of providing professionals in developing and emerging countries with a free management school. Its main activity is training and its mission field is water resource management. Over the years Hydroaid concerns extended to sanitation services, integrated resources management and sustainable environmental planning. Hydroaid training is carried out through a combination of traditional on-site education, distance learning techniques, technical seminars, study visits, traineeships, seminars and workshops. All courses are offered free of charge from the participants - the expenses being covered by the Association's donors of by the specific project partners. Hydroaid also takes part in capacity building initiatives for cooperation and development, organizes related events and conferences, sets up relationships, agreements and partnerships for the better achievement of all the above mentioned purposes.
