    Organizational structure: IANSA is a NGO network with an International Secretariat primarily based in London (UK), supporting a diverse collection of organisations and individuals worldwide. In some parts of the world, the network is organised into national and regional networks; for example, the regional networks include the Latin American Coalition Against Armed Violence (CLAVE), the West African Action Network on Small Arms (WAANSA), the East Africa Action Network Against Small Arms (EAANSA), the Middle East and North African Action Network on Small Arms (MENAANSA) and the South Asia Small Arms Network (SASA-Net). There are also thematic networks, the largest being the Women’s Network. The International Secretariat currently employs eight staff: a Director, Communications Officer, Policy Officer, Program Officer, UN Liaison Officer (based in New York), Africa Coordinator (based in Johannesburg), Women’s Network Coordinator and Office Manager.
    Number and type of members: IANSA is the global movement against gun violence - a network over 900 civil society organisations working in 148 countries. IANSA is composed of a wide range of organisations concerned with armed violence, including policy development organisations, women's groups, research institutes, aid agencies, faith groups, survivors, human rights and community action organisations
