Mission statement:	Assurer la prise en compte des intérêts, droits et pratiques traditionnels des Peuples Autochtones Pygmées dans le processus des réformes forestières et la gestion durable des forêts et des ressources naturelles; Renforcer les capacités de plaidoyer des Peuples Autochtones Pygmées pour la reconnaissance de leurs droits coutumiers et de leurs territoires traditionnels; Mener le plaidoyer et des actions contre la déforestation et la dégradation des forêts, milieu vital des Pygmées; Influencer l’élaboration des politiques affirmatives au profit des Peuples Autochtones Pygmées ; Faciliter l’implication et la participation des Peuples Autochtones Pygmées aux instances de décision au niveau local, provincial, national et international ; Promouvoir la culture et le mode de vie des Pygmées ainsi que leurs savoirs endogènes; Contribuer à la réduction de la pauvreté des populations pygmées, notamment en développant des activités de valorisation de leurs ressources forestières ; Renforcer le plaidoyer de la société civile congolaise au niveau local, national et international pour des questions touchant aux forêts, au paiement des services environnementaux des forêts et au mode de vie des Peuples Autochtones Pygmées. Ensure the consideration of the interests, rights and traditional practices of Indigenous Pygmies in the process of reforms and forest sustainable management of forests and natural resources; Strengthening the advocacy capacity of Indigenous Pygmies for recognition of their customary rights and traditional territories; Conduct advocacy and actions against deforestation and forest degradation, the Pygmies living environment; Influencing policy in favor of affirmative Pygmies Indigenous Peoples; To facilitate the involvement and participation of Indigenous Pygmies in decision-making at local, provincial, national and international levels; To promote the culture and lifestyle of the pygmies and their local knowledge; Contribute to the reduction of poverty Pygmy population, particularly in developing activities to enhance their forest resources; Strengthen advocacy of Congolese civil society at local, national and international issues related to forests, in payment of forest environmental services and lifestyle of Indigenous Pygmies.
