Mission statement:	ANDI is a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to expand and promote economic, social and political principles, within a free enterprise system, based upon beliefs that include human dignity, political democracy, social justice, private property and liberty. ANDI was created on September 11, 1944 and since then it has been Colombia¿s most important private sector organization. We represent nation and international companies that operate in Colombia and represent a high percentage of Colombia¿s GDP and total employment. As representative of the private sectors interests, ANDI assumes the representation of its members before national and international institutions, dealing with, economic, legal, social, enviormental and business issues. Our purpose is to serve, promote, represent and sustain an environment where corporation, markets and citizens can develop properly and obtain welfare. ANDI represents Colombia¿s private sector before several international entities such as: ILO- International Labor Organization; IEO- International Employers Organization and the Global Compact of the UN. As, well it has signed various cooperation agreement with private sector organizations worldwide. Also, we develop corporate social responsibility in Colombia.

Organizational structure:	Headquarters in Bogot¿ and Medell¿n. Offices in 9 other regions (departamentos). 28 chambers divided by economic sector. 278 direct and indirect employees. We have over the Presidency the board of directors and over them the General assembly of affiliates who meets once every year. Internally we have: the Presidency, three vice presidencies (foreign trade and industry, legal and social matters and financial and administrative), direction of the economic studies center, general secretary, communications management , environmental matters management as well as sectional managements and a fiscal comptroller
