Organizational structure: |
BOARD OF DIRECTORS: It comprises 7 members selected from the Ghanaian economy and is the highest decision-making unit of the organisation. Among others, the Board reviews annual reports of activities submitted by the Management Team, approves annual budgets, deliberates on matters in furtherance of the aims and objectives of the organisation, formulates achievable policies for implementation in accordance with the goals and objectives of the organisation, advises YES-Ghana on matters relevant to achieving its set mission, and appoint officers t the Management Team. The Board holds regular meetings on a quarterly basis. When required, emergency meetings are held at short notice. MANAGEMENT TEAM: consists of an Executive Director who shall be the highest authority in the registered office; a Director of Programmes who oversees the formulation, planning and implementation of all projects and initiatives; and a Director of Finance and Administration who is directly responsible for the financial, administrative and human resource aspects of the secretariat. The Management Team jointly manages the general administration of the organisation, including the recruitment of support staffs, monitoring and co-ordinating the implementation of policies, programmes and procedures, supervising budgetary and financial affairs, and providing for security and safekeeping of the official properties of the organisation. SECRETARIAT: Personnel are recruited to work in the registered or project offices in various capacities as and when needed. Persons recruited to fill positions in the organisation do so on a voluntary and/or paid basis. The terms and conditions of service are determined by the Management Team. |

While YES-Ghana is not a membership organisation, it has established a network of youths and youth-serving organisations across the country with which we work. The youth empowerment network currently comprises over 220 organisations in all ten regions of Ghana; and over 1000 individual youths in and out of school. |
