    Organizational structure: Organizational Structure: The Co-Presidents shall be the chief executive officers of the Global Alliance, and subject to the control of the Board of Directors, shall have general charge and supervision of the affairs of the Global Alliance. The Co-presidents, whose term is for three years, are elected by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors currently consist of 14 members each representing an ILC center in 14 countries, i.e. Argentina, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, India, France, Israel, Japan, Netherlands, South Africa, United Kingdom of Great Britain, and United States of America. The Secretariat supports ILC Global Alliance. The Co-presidents shall specify activities of the Secretariat in accordance with the decisions of the Board of Directors. A. OFFICE OF THE CO-PRESIDENTS Co-President (emeritus): Mr.Shigeo Morioka (ILC Japan) Co-President: Baroness Sally Greengross (ILC UK) Co-President: Ms. Monica Ferreira, Ph.D. (ILC South Africa) Secretary: Ms.Masako Osako, Ph.D. (USA) The Co-Presidents are elected by all Members of the ILC Global Alliance. Baroness Greengross and Dr. Ferreira will end in the fall of 2013. The Secretary is an ex-officio position held by the Executive Director of the ILC Global Alliance. B.     Number and type of members: There is only one kind of membership, i.e. full member.
