    Organizational structure: National Board of Directors with committees in program, advocacy, finance, communication, membership, education and governance. Women Graduates-USA is a virtual organization with monthly meetings using the internet, conference calls and webinars. An Annual General Meeting is held either face to face or virtually. Every 3rd year the organization meets in conjunction with Graduate Women International (formerly the International Federation of University Women). Members must have e-mail access. All program and organization information is communicated through e-mail and the WG-USA website. WG-USA provides online activities such as discussion groups, resource material, networking capabilities with members from National Affiliates of Graduate Women International and plenty of opportunities to share experiences with other members both nationally and internationally.
    Number and type of members: Approx. 200 members. WG-USA membership is open to all women college graduates with recognized degrees, irrespective of age, race, nationality, political opinions, sexual orientation or other status. The degree may be obtained from any accredited higher education institution in the world. The degree, diploma or similar qualification is awarded for a program that normally requires at least three years of study at a university or educational institution of comparable standing. In the case of educational institutions other than universities, the entrance requirements are the same as required for university entry. The resulting degree, diploma or similar qualification would make the holder eligible for entry into a Master's level program.
