Mission statement:	SMEFUNDS is an International Non Profit Organization fighting to end poverty through the promotion of alternative renewable energy advocacy in Nigeria and sustainable enterprise development in Africa. SMEFUNDS promotes the creation of sustainable new business ventures; to encourage poor people, typically from disadvantaged backgrounds to get involved in enterprise. The way we do this is not through Grants, Handouts or Lectures but through real world support and investing in start-up and early stage businesses as they grow and become economic viable, self sustaining and profitable. Our objective is to contribute towards the development of Small and Medium sized Entrepreneurs businesses by providing them with access to much required funds and skills to initiate and grow their businesses. SMEFunds presents a transparent platform by which funding is made available from both private investors, donor organisations and grant providers to small business owners with the added advantage of tracking the impact made on the end users business. We also provide the opportunity for the providers of such funds to determine where their investment would work and the preferred sectors or area of the entrepreneurs to be financed.
