The CNJS is the national principal coordinating youth in Senegal.
The National Youth Council of Senegal is the sole representative of the state and the privileged partner of local communities, NGOs and development partners on all issues affecting youth.
The National Youth Council of Senegal can provide advice to the Minister, conduct or commission studies and research he considers necessary for the exercise of its function, seek advice or receive petitions from individuals, groups about youth, provide public information on all matters relating to the needs and interests of youth and, finally, form committees at regional, departmental and municipal local youth over the entire national territory.
The National Youth Council of Senegal can also advise the Minister on all matters that it submits to respect the interests of youth. In addition, it can do or have done any studies or research it is requested by the Minister. |
