    Organizational structure: SPEDP stand for Sudan Peace and Education Development Programme. Whose Sectors are:- Food Security and Urban Livilyhood, Health, Water & Sanitation, Education, Protection & Gender Base Violance. I. OBJECTIVE: ¿ To promote Agriculture and Livelihood activities as the backbone of the Country ¿ Initiate peace building amongst the various communities in South Sudan. ¿ Promote general economic empowerment through community capacity building in Microfinance, marketing of produce ¿ To advocate for elimination of gender base violence against women in Southern ¿ To provide and develop education, teachers/training and other training in various skills for youth, women, and displaced persons. ¿ To provide humanitarian relief and rehabilitation and development and also home base care. ¿ To provide and promote health care services and HIV/AIDS awareness and treatment and also mental health of war-affected orphans, traumatized children and displaced persons in primary health care. ¿ Promote water and sanitation. ¿ Provide social welfare to the very needy in the society. ¿ Child protection. II. SPEDP FIELDS OF OPERATION: ¿ Agriculture – Organic Vegetables, fruits production, Trees Planting & Cereal Production are the major activities for SPEDP in Food Security Sector. This is taking place currently in Central Equatoria State, Juba County, Morobo County& Terekeka County ¿ Group dynamic & marketing training of farmers. We promote effective farmers groups and effecting marketing of their products and proper management of their funds – Central Equatoria State ¿ Economic empowerment of women through microfinance development Training and constructions of market shades especially in Morobo County – Central Equatoria State ¿ Education: Provide education to needy children of south Sudan, as education is the first priority and key to life. ¿ Health: promote health care services and HIV/AIDS awareness and water and sanitation services to the needy community. ¿ Child right protection & Gender base violence ¿ Provide social welfare to the very needy in the society. ¿ Provide general economic empowerment through community capacity building. For example: women’s affairs, food security, and educate our people on the importance of self-reliance and self-sufficiency. ¿ Conduct gender base violence advocacy II. JUSTIFICATION: SPEDP being National NGO is very knowledgeable with the myriad problems facing the communities in Central Equatoria, Western Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria as well other States in Southern Sudan and therefore best placed to tackle the problems in collaboration with the communities and international agencies’ support SPEDP has already conducted in-depth need assessments in the target areas. The assessment covered nine sectors; namely Agriculture, Education, Health, Water, Sanitation, Conflicts, Child right protection, transport and communication. The priority needs of the community were identified, analyzed and are now documented in our needs assessment report. The report contains the field findings, the problems being faced by the community and the coping strategies. At the end of each assessment, we intend to have a baseline for proposals to assist the communities in the target area. We therefore hope that our introduction will open up further discussion to identify potential areas of common interest and future co-operation. SPEDP does not have funds to finance its operation, we are requesting any person who is kindly willing to support SPEDP financially and work together as partners so that we may reach the suffering people of South Sudan
