Since 1998, our network was created with the support of UNFPA and the Ivorian Government through the Ministry of Youth.
Each 02 years, a president of the network is elected. If for instance the elected president belongs to youth federation or association, the following 2 years, the president will come from a non governemental organization.
The network is organise like this:
- a president, 02 vice-presidents, 02 general secretary and other services ( (finance, logistic, communication)
We quote that each member of the network defines its aera of working and has the possibility to have some over financial partners to support their activities. But the network compete for project grants for his members. For instance for year 2010, the network has a financial support on United Nation Program for Development (UNDP)for 35 222 dollars US for the employement of 22 youg indigenous ( rural community and HIV infected youths). |

The network is composed of 37 members (07 youth federations and 30 non governemental organisation)
The federations are a sort of small network with somme others youth associations. We quote some main federations: Scouts, Communale Youths, Child and youth associations called FEMAJECI.
Among federations, we find 02 youth religious associations ( Protestant, muslim)
Most of the federations and an important Non governemental organization called AIBEF (Ivorian association for family well being cover a big part of the ivorian country. |
