    Organizational structure: The Global Wind Energy Council is the trade association representing the wind industry at the international level. Our members are both national wind industry associations and companies working in the industry. The GWEC board of directors meets two times per year to discus the strategic objectives of GWEC. Members of the Board of Directors include both corporate and association members. The board currently has about 16 corporate members and 15 association members.
    Number and type of members: In addition to board members, we have more than 100 ordinary members, which include national associations, research institutes and companies.
