Governance and Structure The Initiative is governed by the Articles of Association which provides for the Board of eleven office bearers headed by the Chairperson. A sub-committee of the Board on fundraising is chaired by the Financial Advisor and interlinks the YALI with cooperating partners. The YALI Board has also established an Advisory Council of luminaries to offer mentoring, coaching, support, internship, technical and financial support, and advisory services to the YALI from their own organizations. The Advisory council therefore serves as the matron/ patron. |

The Initiative is a national membership-based organization whose Membership is open to young persons and interest groups willing to commit to aims and vision of the YALI regardless of their gender, race, religion or political affiliation. The main interest groups are young people, organizations or bodies of persons or firms involved in the promotion of youth and women empowerment, leadership and good governance, business skills and entrepreneurship. |
