Mission statement:	Mission statement Sometime in July 1998, the board of trustee with some key officer of the International Youth Organization adopted the international youth Organization mission statement. The mission statement was intoned with the basic fundamental objectives and core values of our organization. The International youth Organization mission statement is subject to review from time to time. iYO is multidimensional in it endeavor, paramount among are Youths Empowerment, rural development, Unemployment among youths, Human Rights and social justices, Women and gender equality, Environmental sustainability, Child labour, Drug and Hiv/Aids, capacity building , MDG etc. The root cause of the problem in our society today ranging from inner city crime to large scale war and terrorism are as a result of the fact that majority of the youths are deprived of there rights socially, economically, psychologically and otherwise. That is why the policies governing the IYO must be gear towards the objectives of empowering youths in all raminification. The ultimate objectives of which to curb social vices among youths to its barest minimum. The very essence of tomorrow is the preservation of the youths, without which there is no tomorrow. Targeted interventions are needed to help re-orientate the deprived youth- youths who have suffered deprivation continuously as a result of poverty. Inline with our objectives which reflect the principle of equity and justices, IYO shall continue to . Help youths realized there full potentials . Help counsel those living with Hiv/Aids and rehabilitate drug victim . Promote gender equality .Compliance with the millennium development goals . Help promote literacy and adult education . Rural development .Functional education for youth in rural areas The core policies and strategies that govern IYO are to curb socials vices among youths: . Ensure a better tomorrow for the youths . To make the youths a useful person to the society . To help build assets and promote the self-reliance of the youth and communities, particularly through labour-intensive works programmes.

Organizational structure:	International Youth Organization comprise of six major department, each headed by the HOD. The dept. are : Dept Of Administrative. Dept of Public Health. Dept. Of Youth and Human Resouces Dept Of Human Rights And social Justices Dept. of Information and Data Management And the Depart of Protocol and Logistics The president is the over all Leader with some executives. The Secretary, Financial secretary, Welfare, Publicity secretary.
Number and type of members:	Our members cut across the country, with members from different social economic background. There are three types of membership: voluntary members Financial member Staff member Our members is currently six thousand seven hundred and thirty two (6,732).
Funding structure:	Membership fees or dues Fees for providing consulting or research services Donations and grants from domestic sources
