Mission statement:	Young Women's Knowledge and Leadership Institute Burundi (YOWLI BURUNDI) is a national NGO whose mission is to give a positive feedback to the current barriers that are handicapping the Women in development. Our focus is to include and involve Burundian young women in the MDGs achievement. This NGO was created on behalf of my own initiative when I was back home from Dakar in the 3rd International Youth Training; Engaging Africa's Youth and Women to lead Economic and Climate Justice". Briefly, YOWLI BURUNDI mission is to promote the overall health of young people in the fight against HIV / AIDS and other STIs; the access to Sexual and Reproductive Health; the fight against sexual violence and crimes committed against the young woman; the promotion of women's leadership. We want to encourage the participation of young people themselves, and especially male involvement in the promotion of young Burundian woman. Thank you

Organizational structure:	The structure of our Organization consists of: Executive broad composed of 10 memmbers, Standing committees boards composed of 4 members each and The General Assembly.
Number and type of members:	Our NGO counts 65 members among those 40 women. There are three types of recognized members: Founding members; Effective members who expressed the desire to adhere to the mission of YOWLI BURUNDI and partaking to the fullfilment of its vision and values, and Honorary members.
