KPO has a Patron and has a two-level structure consisting of the Board of Directors (BOD) and the Advisory Board (KAB) BOD is the principle decision-making organ whereas KAB provides technical support. The Secretariat is headed by the Executive Director who works with a team of three Project Coordinators (Finance and Resource Mobilization, Advocacy, and Disability Mainstreaming. Under the Project Managers are the Project Officers and Assistant Project Officers in respective profile and rank. The Project Assistants work with an equivalent number of Field Officers then the community (target beneficiaries). |
Number and type of members: |
The target beneficiaries are persons living with the traumas of spinal cord injuries (SCIs) and related disabilities. In general however, KPO reaches out to all persons with disabilities. Hitherto, KPO have over 10,000 men, women and children as members. |
