Since its founding eight years ago, COPPWIL has grown in strength with the assistance from relevant Institutions. Starting with women drawn from political parties to a record thirty-eight thousand women, some of whom do not necessarily have political alignment, but who feel inspired by the new democratic wind of change that now blows in the world of women in Liberia. A unique feature of COPPWIL, is that it represents an innovative approach, mainly among women from different persuasions,to the quest for elevation from the mainly tradition inclination of keeping in the background, to a level where they would walk side-by-side with their male counterparts. |
