RIPESS is an intercontinental network that connects social and solidarity economy networks throughout the world. As a network of networks, it brings together five continental networks that in turn bring together national and sectoral networks. These are: RIPESS Latinoamerica y Caribe (RIPESS-LAC), RIPESS-North America, RIPESS-Europe, RAESS (Réseau Africain d’économie sociale et solidaire) and the ASEC (Asian Solidarity Economy Coalition). RIPESS-LAC brings together 7 national Networks, 3 Latin-American Networks and 10 sub-national, national or continental organisations. It is present in 12 countries of the region. RIPESS North America has four members: Canadian Community Economic Development Network (CCEDNet), Chantier de l’économie sociale du Québec, Groupe d’économie solidaire du Québec (GESQ) and US Solidarity Economy Network (SEN) RIPESS Europe is composed of a platform of sectoral networks within IRIS and a gathering of national and territorial networks called RIPESS Europe Territorial. RAESS The Réseau africain d’économie sociale et solidaire is a space of dialogue, exchange and sharing of information about the ESS for the national networks of 14 countries. It also aims to enable advocacy with governments and African and international organisations in favour of the ESS. ASEC The Asian Solidarity Economy Coalition brings together eighteen organizations that have made a commitment pledge to work as Partner organizations for concerted and collective action towards advancing solidarity economy in Asia. |

The membership of the Canadian CED Network is made up of community-based organizations, co-operatives, practitioners, students, researchers, and active citizens from every region of the country. The Chantier de l’économie sociale is a network of territorial and sectoral networks of the social and solidarity economy. Its main mission is to promote the social economy as an integral part of the socio-economic structure of Quebec. The Chantier de l’économie sociale works to enable and sustain the emergence, the development and the consolidation of enterprises and organizations of the social economy in all sectors of the economy. The Groupe d’économie solidaire du Québec is an organisation that coordinates the actions of its members internationally and facilitates their interaction with international solidarity networks of social economy. The U.S. Solidarity Economy Network connects a diverse array of individuals, organizations, businesses and projects in the shared work of building and strengthening regional, national and international movements for a solidarity economy.
