Mission statement:	Nazra for Feminist Studies is a women’s rights research organization, composed of young researchers and activists of both sexes. We aim to enhance the participation of young men and women in the gender debate in Egypt .We believe firmly that women's rights represent an indivisible element of human rights and democracy. We seek to provide a younger perspective and facilitate the participation of young people in the human rights and feminist movements in Egypt, opening a door for the participation of a new generation of activists and researchers. Nazra aims to establish and embed women’s rights in Egypt through research about the legal and social situation of women in Egypt. We believe it is necessary to work to institute legislation that is more supportive of women’s rights, applying local, regional and international tools to enforce such legislative progress. Nazra takes into consideration the social context and societal pressures affecting the situation of women and their acquired rights.
