Mission statement:	Civil Society Organization of Public Interest (OSCIP), working for the Environment and democratization of access to Information. Founded in 1997, the performance of ECODATA is marked by important achievements, result of an effective design and implementation of programs and projects in the areas of environment and water resources; supporting the protection, recovery, conservation, management and sustainable use of natural resources. The work of ECODATA have contributed to improve the information related to society, economics and environment in the central region of Brazil. Particularly in Cerrado, the second largest Brazilian biome, which covers almost 25% of the country.
