    Organizational structure: General Assembly (The entire membership) as the supreme organ, followed by Executive Committee drawn from the GA by voting, followed by the Project Implementation Committee. Secretariat comprises 6 paid staff headed by the Executive Director.
    Number and type of members: 3,000 members, 700 men and 2300 women. They are mainly forest-edge communities who derive their livelihood from the forest.
