Mission statement:	Green impact incorporated is an upcoming non-governmental organization which is based in Nigeria and which has as its focus , on projects that ensure the protection and resuscitation of environmental values through awareness and sensitization coupled with realizable tree planting campaigns both at urban and grassroots level in order to conserve and restore natural ecosystems and habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity .Our objective is to introduce to the younger generation of our society the need to be environmentally sensitive ,being conscious of the fact that we all have a part to play in combating the menace of climate change, and that the children and youth in general do not want to wait any longer for the adults to finally begin to tackle the impending global challenges of our day. And this is going to be ensured by our vision which is” plant a tree in your yard” Our primary aim is to create awareness based on the issues of climate change and environmental sustainability through education and sensitization. And the primary target is the children and young people (the young and growing adults) who are indeed the future. We intend to incorporate into basic school curriculum, activities and initiatives that will sensitize and create an educational atmosphere on the values of the environment. We intend training up these young ones as (development knowledge) facilitators who will not only be useful to themselves but will also serve as advocates of the environment in their various homes and communities. By taking actions and definite steps that will influence and help change the mindset of the rest of the society so that the goal of all becoming stewards of the natural environment is achieved and that we can indeed save our dear world from the impending catastrophes we enabled by our non-chalant and earth killing actions. And of course, this will not be limited to educational institutions alone but also, related youth organizations in the various sectors and departments, such as faith based organizations, various youth groups etc.
