Mission statement:	Environment Online - ENO is a global virtual school and network for sustainable development. Environmental themes are studied throughout the school year and campaigns arranged simultaneously around the world. Over 10 000 schools from 150 countries have taken part since 2000. The ENO programme is coordinated and maintained by ENO Programme Association based in the city of Joensuu, Finland. Schools have made concrete deeds for the environment like planted five million trees so far. For us, sustainable development is environmental, economic, social and cultural well-being for today and tomorrow. There is no sustainable development without education. ENO works in parallel with UN's mission and organises its campaigns on UN days like ENO Tree Planting Day on 22 May (biodiversity day) and 21 Sep (peace day). We value collaborative learning and shared resources. Our logo is a kite. It symbolizes challenges in learning as well as freedom and equality in learning, despite boundaries.

Organizational structure:	ENO Programme is administrated by ENO Programme Association in Finland. There are voluntary country coordinators in 141 countries. ENO Advisory Board was established 2010 in Finland that consists of governmental bodies, ngos, academic institutions and private sector.
Number and type of members:	There are about 100 Finnish members in the association and through network over 7 000 schools in 141 countries.
