Mission statement:	Mission Statement The mission of DIRDSARC NGO is to assist DIRDSARC members and farm groups to achieve their food security, sustainable agriculture and poverty eradication. The small and poor farmers of the community would directly benefit from agricultural research and innovative technology to develop human capital and foster the agricultural sector. Our goals: 1. Establish effective and mutually beneficial partnerships amongst farm groups and agricultural researchers in order to mobilize research to benefit the rural poor in favourable environments. 2. Generate, develop and apply new knowledge and technology 3. Sustainable use and management of natural resources 4. Enhance nutrition, food security and safety 5. Enhance the ability of farmers to manage and mitigate agricultural risk 6. Technology transfer 7. Organizational growth and sustainability. 8. Empowers farmers to develop policy and implement programs resulting in economic and environmental sustainability of our communities, and 9. Increases the capacity of each member group by sharing resources and collaborating on program development.
