Organizational structure: |
The Institute (IoES) is a Center for Interdisciplinary Instruction that sites between the level of an academic department and a division or school. The IoES is led by a Director, two Associate Directors and supports Center Directors for 7 research centers. In most matters the IoES Director reports to the Provost of UCLA. |

The IoES has over 45 full-time or cross appointed university faculty, over 35 affiliated university faculty and a staff and researcher compliment of over 15 people. |

The IoES has a stable funding line from the State of California through the UC system. It also receives grants, foundation and federal and state agency support and has over 20 firms that support it through a corporate partners program. |
