GARBS is an NGO with branches spreading through Africa. With an international co-ordinator, it's activities are being harmonised throughout it's offices in johanesburg, South Africa, Lagos, Nigeria,Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, and in Rwanda. Its national competences covers the whole country where they operate. At this national levethe executive power is in the hands of the secretary General who works in very close collaboration with the international co-ordinator. The branches function with semi automy, each branch takes charge of it's day to day' running and only gives account to the International co-ordination bureau that meets twice a year. Major decisions come from the General Assembly which meets on a rotative basis and comprises of members who are elected at the various branches
The over seer of the implementation of it's resolution is is the Secretaries of the branches. Decision making is unanimous through a democratic process of oneman one vote. |

In GARBS,our membership range from very active members. These ones are the members that make up the Organisation and enforce it's resolution on a day to day basis. They are charged with the smooth existence of the Organisation. The second group of members are the observers. This are members who sympathise with the organisations and on whom the organisation can count on in case of emergency based on any subject matter. They contribute to most of our projects but do not have a right to vote, but can be granted the right to vote if they so wish.
