Organizational structure: |
A stakeholder in the social and solidarity economy, GRET has set demands as regards transparency and internal democracy. Its orientations are determined by the General As-sembly, which meets twice a year. Each year GRET increases the number of its members from the countries where it operates or is permanently represented. GRET's members num-bered 146 in 2014, with 10 nationalities represented: Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Congo, France, Haiti, Madagascar, Mauritania, Myanmar, Senegal and Vietnam. The Board, the chairman/chairwoman of which is elected for three years (with the possibil-ity of being re-elected), is made up of employee representatives and specialists in develop-ment issues. GRET is under the operational management of a director elected for three years and for a maximum of two terms of office. Olivier Bruyeron was the managing director in 2014. |
