    Organizational structure: The Consortium (CCD ) is structured in the Following manner: GENERAL ASSEMBLY and BOARDS: The General Assembly - the decision-making body of the CCD. In that capacity, the General Assembly provides guidance and determines governance and guidelines for the organization’s daily management The Board of Directors - a non-permanent body responsible for enforcing the Executive Committee’s decisions of the General Assembly CCD The Board of Directors Audit Committee - a non-permanent body consisting of three members elected by and within the General Assembly EXECUTIVE : The Executive Committee - the permanent body responsible for the Board of Directors’ execution and daily management of the CCD. The head of the Executive Committee is responsible for daily operations. The functions of the Executive Committee are: • Ensure the daily management of CCD’s resources; • Prepare a program of CCD’s activities and present an annual budget; • Monitor and evaluate activities conducted by staff members; • Implement the decisions of the Board of Directors; • Consult, conceive and/or prepare proposals of projects to be carried out by full members; • Submit periodic reports to the Board of Directors; • Supervise theme specific commissions; • Organize consultative meetings; • Represent and engage the CCD as permitted by present statutes. STAFF: The Consortium’s staff develops, coordinates and implements projects, and collaborates with other organizations, experts, consultants and private sector professionals in order to come up with effective solutions to the development challenges in the D.R. Congo.
    Number and type of members: MEMBERS: The Consortium includes four categories of members - Founding members, Full Members, Supporting Members, and Honorary Members. These can be individuals or CBOs/NGOs. Currently, over 12 grassroots CBOS and NGOs are in the Consortium.
