The Global Water for Sustainability Program (GLOWS) is headquartered at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, USA. This is a major U.S. university with more than 40,000 students and a strong research focus. GLOWS also has offices in several countries (Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Georgia, and Burkina Faso). At each of these locations, GLOWS coordinates programs that aim to address issues as related to water service delivery and freshwater resource conservation.
The GLOWS program at Florida International University partners with many kinds of civil society organizations. Project partners include major NGOs, such as the World Wildlife Fund, Winrock International, CARE International, World Vision, WaterAid America, among others. |
