Mission statement:	To promote positive change, national rebirth and values reorientation in Nigeria as a strategy to help midwife the birth and emergence of a truly great nation, established on the foundation of strong principles, highest ethical / moral standards and an efficient system that delivers excellence at all times. Working in both the humanitarian and development context, Inspire Nigeria incorporates a unique methodology that uses seminars, conferences, road shows, talk shows, reality shows, music, drama, essay competitions, award programmes and when necessary mobilize public rallies as tools for positive change and national inspiration in eleven development impact areas: 1. Good Governance and Democratic Development: Inspire Nigeria’s Good Governance Platform and Democratic Highway create forums for delivering necessary inspiration for elected leaders and political officers to embrace the ideals of good governance as a way of promoting economic prosperity, national development and sustainable growth of democracy. 2. Electoral Reforms and Voters Education Realizing that the integrity of the electoral system is crucial to the growth of democracy, we are working with other stakeholders to promote strategic reforms in the electoral system to win the confidence of the electorate and make the democratic process work for the people and the nation. We developed a creative module to promote aggressive voters education and improve the quality of electoral literacy in our nation. 3. Leadership Development: Through her “Leaders Inspiring Leaders outreach” programmes, Inspire Nigeria is actively raising the standards of leadership in our country by proving political, economic, educational, religious leaders and so on the opportunity for capacity development, mentoring and broadened outlook for effective performance. 4. Environmental Governance: Under “One World, One Habitat” initiative, we are engaging in advocacy programmes and spreading awareness about environmental issues and inspiring Nigerians to rise up to the challenges of making our world greener. 5. Basic Education and Child Development: Inspire Nigeria’s Change Eaglets and Beacons of Hope programmes encourage the physical, cognitive and social development of children to teach important civic values and life skills. We also promote community participation in educational development through voluntarism and establishing of reading clubs and setting up of libraries.
