Mission statement:	CJARC’s objectives are the following: - Carry out actions for the prevention of blindness; - Sensitise society in general, namely the decisionmakers and families with visually impaired members, about the problems that the visually impaired face; - Pool the experience of each individual for the service of everyone, namely through professional training and education of the visually impaired, thereby enabling them to become socially and economically independent, through the development of activities which generate revenue and the promotion of the well-being of the visually impaired woman and child; - Promote cultural values, sport and excellence within the visually impaired community; - Be the spokesperson of its members and of all blind people in general, in order to encourage public authorities, civil society and development partners to take into more serious consideration the preoccupations of blind people who are in need of different forms of support for a better social and political integration. - Advocate and promote the rights of the visually impaired among decision-makers.

Organizational structure:	CJARC is structured as following (see Constitution of CJARC) : - a General Assembly (GA) gathers every 3 years all CJARC members - the Administration Council (AC, elected by the General Assembly) gathers its members at least once a year - the General Direction Board (GDB) prepares the agenda for the GA and the AC. There are 4 Units in CJARC: Unit for Formation and Insertion, Unit for Projects Unit for Communication and Unit for Administration and Finance.
