    Organizational structure: The Board-> Executive Director->Country Director-> Program Accountant-> Project Coordinators->Departmental Staff->Support Staff->Volunteers. Roles:  MMCI Board-Overseeing the Strategic direction of the Organization.  Executive Director- Maintaining local & international networks and relationships.  Country Director- Monitoring and Evaluation, Report writing and overseeing of the implementation of projects through the Project Coordinators.  Program Accountant-Overseeing all the financial aspects of the Organization and generating the required financial reports on time.  Project Coordinator- Direct implementer of Project goals.  Departmental Staff- Application of technical skills towards implementation of project goals. I.e. Teaching, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Vocational Skills Training.  Support Staff-Provision of required support to all Project and Departmental heads.  Volunteers-Filling the staffing gaps and provision of technical skills in assigned department.
    Number and type of members: Maji Mazuri Children’s Centre: home to 44 children, 16 special needs children and 23 orphans and vulnerable children, 2 in Primary school and 21 in High school. The home is not only a safe haven but also provides Physiotherapy, Special Needs Education and Pre vocational skills training. With these skills and in the safety of the children’s Centre, the children are empowered for a hopeful future. Maji Mazuri Headstart School: located in Mathare Valley informal settlement, the school is a beacon of hope in a valley characterized by crime and illegal activities. The school having started with about 50 children, now educates 551 children from the area. In addition, the school provides a meal and talent skills development to the children. The school runs a Pre-Teens Talent Program every Saturday. The presence of the school in Mathare is a source of hope to many children. Maji Mazuri Youth group and ICT Training Centre: also located in Mathare valley, the group is an intervention for youth who are susceptible to crime and other illegal activities in Mathare Valley.The group has a membership of 70 and reaches out to over 200 youth from Mathare Valley slums through the various programmes. The group is now a formidable voice on the power of empowered youth. The youth group runs a training Centre that trains youth on Entrepreneurship, life skills, and Information Computer Technology. These skills enable the youth to gain employment and escape the cycle of poverty. The group has an environmental arm known as the Green Heroes, who sensitize the community on care of the environment. The group has won various awards, one of them being the United Nations Environmental Award.
