The Association works in the field of prison and alternatives to rison with the aim of re-entry into society of people that have been sentenced for one or more crimes. This means necessarily the involvement of local and national authorities as well as international ones (for foreign prisoners and for italian prisoners convicted abroad). The ngo take care of children of incarcerated people and of women in prison. It gives its support also to prisoners'families and fight torture and inhuman treatment inside prisons. Moreover, in a preventive perspective, the ngo manages a large number of projects for Youth and promote the use of mediation and restorative justice among adult offenders. |
