It has also got Approval under Section 80G (5) (vi). More over, ARASMIN has got the 100% Tax Exemption Approval under Section 10 (23C) (vi) of Income Tax Act’1961. It is governed by its Governing Body which consists up 07 (seven) Members out of 11 ( Eleven) Members in total. As regards to the Major Activities of ARASMIN, it has been providing persistent services to the poor Tribal people on Lively-hood Empowerment, Economic Revolution, Environment, Climate Change, Health Care, Education, Human Rights, Preservation of Culture and Women Trafficking etc. in order to provide SOCIAL SECURITY, FINANCIAL SECURITY and HEALTH SECURITY to the hilly-dwelling down-trodden Tribal People of ORISSA. RESEARCH is another vital part of the programmes of ARASMIN in order to merge the people with the New Scientific World and to have some innovations. Since, last 20 (twenty) years, ARASMIN has been working in a Net-working system Consisting of four NGOs and another 3 (three) NGOs from three other Districts with great interest have merged with our Ideology and have joined recently in our team. We also welcome and invite the like-minded NGOs of our State to share with our Ideology and join this Net-work with a view to save the lives of the hilly-dwelling poor Tribal people of our State. CULTURE AND SPIRITUALISM : Culture is the most important aspect of Tribal Lively-hood. In view of this fact, we are having regular inter-action with the people in their periodical meetings and inspiring them to worship their own goddess in proper traditional method and preserve their culture. Spiritualism is also another vital part of their life and growth. Reasons for TAKING Consultative Status : Since long we have been working on Protection of Environment, Control of Pollution, Biodiversity Conservation and Climate Change. In this regard We have organized Vana Surakshya Samities (Forest protection committees) to safe guard the village Forests which are the Natural properties and need the partnership of International Agencies for its acceleration. |
