KIT is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit corporation with oversight by a 15 member board of directors and managed by a Chief Executive Officer. The CEO leads a staff of 18 full-time and 8 contract educators. |
Number and type of members: |
KIT serves approximately 20,000 individuals per year, teaching them to include children with disabilities. These 20,000 individuals serve approximately 350,000 children per year. A large part of KIT's work is to provide the education and training on children with disabilities to all of the US Military (Navy, Air Force, Marines and Army) child and youth programs on 245 military installations around the world. |
