Geographic scope:	International
Mission statement:	We facilitate civic, community, cultural, and commercial advancement in urban areas by advocating for the acquisition, development, and operation of the city Top Level Domains as public interest resources. And we educate residents and organizations about the techniques and opportunities city Top Level Domains (TLD) offer for improving social and economic systems. To achieve these goals we are creating a policy framework for city TLD design and development.This framework is based on the equitable allocation, distribution, and administration of domain names. We advocate for the establishment and administration of a transparent domain name registration system. We operate a dispute resolution processes providing for redress of grievances on matters associated with the administration or use of domain names and other Internet resources. We liaise with international bodies on issues relating to the development and administration of domain name systems and Internet Protocol addresses. We seek to raise awareness in the Internet industry by acquiring and sharing knowledge and best practices with cities that have or are interested in acquiring their TLDs. We develop programs that raise public awareness of the benefits to be derived from utilizing Internet technology; and promote and provide education and training to raise the city resident and organization's capacity to utilize the Internet.
