Organizational structure: |
ECAAIR consists of the following organs; (a) the General congress, which is responsible for creating long-term strategies for implementation of ECAAIR programs. In addition, the Congress meeting is the first supreme organ of ECAAIR. It consists of Board of Directors, staff, representatives from the communities that we work with and members. The Congress meeting takes place once every 2 years. (b) Board of Directors which is the second supreme organ of ECAAIR responsible for approving all budgets and controlling all organs of management of the organization, and implements resolutions of the General congress meeting through staff and programs. (c) ECAAIR staff which is headed by the executive director. The staff includes country coordinators and regional officers who lead respective of ECAAIR programs. |

a)Founder members: 1 A Founder members : is any physical or moral person who conceived and initiated the East and Central African Association for Indigenous Rights. b)Honorary members : 20 An honorary member : is any physical or moral person who has made outstanding moral and/or financial contributions in advancing the mission of the East and Central African Association for Indigenous Rights. c)Direct adherent members : 200 An adherent member: is any physical or moral person who freely adheres to the objectives and vision of the East and Central African Association for Indigenous Rights. They actively participate in ECAAIR activitities and pays annual membership dues. |
