Geographic scope:	International
Mission statement:	The GSMA represents mobile operators worldwide, uniting nearly 800 operators and almost 300 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, including organisations in adjacent industry sectors. The GSMA also produces industry-leading events such as Mobile World Congress, Mobile World Congress Shanghai, Mobile World Congress Americas and the Mobile 360 Series of conferences. Our organization is leading the industry to pursue a common purpose: connecting the world to achieving sustainable development, particularly through the SDGs, to end poverty, halt climate change and fight injustice and inequality. Access to the mobile internet is a defining moment in a community’s economic, social and political development.
