Organizational structure: |
Compass has a elected Board who is responsible for the strategic directions of the organisation including policy, financial viability and achievement of strategic goals. The Senior Executive Team under the leadership of the Group Managing Director is responsible for the day to day operations and service delivery to its customers. The board comprises up to 9 Directors, as follows: (1) The Group Managing Director , who may be appointed as an Executive director when he or she commences employment with Compass; and (2) Up to eight (8) non-executive directors who are each elected for a three (3) year period; The Board’s policy is that the majority of directors be independent, non-executive directors to ensure that all board discussions or decisions have the benefit of outside views and experience, and independence in decision making. It is a skills based board and the Nomination & Governance Committee review the balance of skills, experience and diversity of Directors prior to nominating new Director appointments.
