    Organizational structure: WELFARE TOGO is headed by a President who constitutionally has to be a women of less than 35 years of age. She heads a Secretriat constituting 4 Heads of Department (i. Finance and Administration, ii. Gender, Youth and Education, iii. Human and Environmental Rights iv. Health . The main decision making body is the Executive Board which is made of 7 individuals whose approval is secured from the Registrar of Associations.
    Number and type of members: WELFARE TOGO was established by female students at the University of Lome in 2009 for the following purposes: I. Defending their rights as female students II. Engaging the university administration and relevant government departments on various matters related to climate change, politics, home based violence,female genital mutilation, HIV and AIDS among youths, youth employment, etc III. Making themselves more visible to potential employers. As a result, the majority of membership are femate university and college students with current membership from this group standing at 3,390. The rest of the members are former university students and their number is 965. There are 5 honorary members who are academicians and decided to assist the youth.
